Our software products enable business experts to define and deploy their knowledge of how processes or decisions work, and make it available as powerful software applications.
We offer three software products (collectively known as Spark Studio) which deploy the business rules to support three different types of applications:

Firefly - Interactive guides

Firefly allows a process to be drawn by the relevant expert and published as a web-based interactive guide. Contact center staff, for example in a Technical Support Center or a Telesales Call Center, can then manage customer interactions with the expert’s level of skill.

Firebox - Calculators & quotations

Firebox enables the creation and management of powerful rules engines by the business owner - without any programming.  Keeping the business rules and programming logic separate in your software applications makes them easier to manage and speeds up development.

Typical applications for Firebox include

• Online calculators - e.g. web tools for product selection, advice, 'what if' calculators and quotations, in the financial services or communications industries
• Price quotations - e.g. for complex financial products such as life or income protection insurance
• Product and service configurators - e.g., for calculating product configuration and maintenance schedules and pricing in engineering manufacture and support
• Complex billing rules - e.g. in the communications industry
• Complex commission calculations - e.g. in financial services.

Firestorm - Analyze & Transform Data

Firestorm allows multiple sets of data to be run through a rules engine. Firestorm can therefore be used to test applications produced using our other products or to develop specialist applications, for example in the movement and conversion of data.

Typical applications for Firestorm include:

• Data validation and testing - e.g., using a large data set to ensure a Spark Application is compliant with rules and regulations
• Extract Transform Load (ETL) – e.g. moving data from a source application to a target application where the data must undergo some transformation before being loaded into the target.
